Q. What are the pros and cons of my
email hosted on Hosting New Zealand vs it forwarded to my ISP?
A. If you have your emailed collected at Hosting
New Zealand for you to pick up then you will need to modify your existing email
application to connect to our server. If you do not want to adjust settings
in your email application then it would be better for you to have your
email forwarded to your existing ISP. Your ISP can then not charge you
for the domain name hosting etc. If you change ISP then you can use
the members' area to change the forwarding address for your email. Hosting
your email with Hosting
New Zealand and not forwarding it means you do not need to change anything when
you change ISP.
Q. Is there any virus and spam checking
on emails?
A. Yes - we use a product called SpamAssassin

5000 emails a day!. The product also includes simple virus scanning
for rogue attachments etc.
